Maxis, Wedding, Birthday and Ayam Penyet

Like any ordinary beings, my fave day of the week would have to be Saturday and sometimes, Sunday. This week, our Saturday was kinda packed but it was saved by a resting Sunday.

I got up at 8ish am on Saturday and did the laundry. Had to do loads of it because I skipped doing it on Thursday or was it Friday, I can't quite remember. Adel woke up a couple of minutes later when I caught him almost falling off the bed with hubby next to him..sleeping *sigh*. Fed Adel, bathe and dressed him, then hubby and I prepped up for our day ahead.

It was such a long wait!

We had to wait for an hour! We were scheduled to attend a wedding afterward but we were dead starving. Adel had dozed off, I think he sensed that it was pointless waiting, lol! So, we had a quick bite here:

A quick trip to Memory Lane.

After grabbing a quick bite, a brief visit to Toys R Us and Memory Lane, we headed back to Maxis but to hubby's disappointment, his BB could not be saved *hangs head*. Adel woke up from his sleep and we headed back to the car and rushed to the wedding.

We didn't take any pictures at the wedding because it was really hot! Seriously. I could fry an egg in the heat or even roast a lamb, lol! Adel was sweating like mad! Poor him :( Dahla silly old me forgot to bring spare clothes for him to change. Because we could not stand seeing him sweating profusely, we decided to let him wear his birthday suit ;p. We finally had a proper meal at the wedding, though a bit late, masuk angin dah perut!

After the wedding, we went to Aunty Alang's house and celebrated my grandmother's 70th birthday. We did not get her anything. Hehe. We totally forgot about her, actually *evil grin*. So we had cake at Aunty Alang's house. Could no longer stuff ourselves with rice or other food because we were full to the brim! My sister was there too and brought Adel a t-shirt from MotoGP.

We went back home (thank God!) near Maghrib. I wasn't feeling well, maybe because I overloaded myself with food today. Haha. I left Adel with hubby and dozed off for a while. Woke up an hour later, tucked Adel to sleep and had dinner with hubby. He went out earlier to get nasi goreng belacan for me :p. After dinner, joined hubby watched Salt but I got easily bored and I went straight back to bed!

Sunday (today) was a good day. Too much rest actually. Adel woke me up at 9am and I did more laundry *sigh*. Did my morning routine and near 11am we went to Wangsa Walk. I have this thing for Ayam Penyet. I don't really like it and it's not my fave dish in the entire world but strangely enough, I must have it at least once a week! I'd order the usual though, chicken, eggplant and gado-gado and wash it down with limau ice! Haha. I feel like having it now ;p

We went back home after lunch and Adel and I had a siesta till 4pm. We planned on going to the car wash to get my car washed. I can't remember the last time I washed it. The car is red but because of my non-attentiveness, the car is now, well..gray!

Adel woke up earlier than me because he had pooped! Called hubby to sort him up. I thought we were just in time to go to the car wash but hubby ended up sleeping till 6pm! I also had thought of seeing Sasha and Dayah at Great Eastern Mall but because hubby slept till 6pm, we didn't even go to the car wash and so I sulked and did my evening routine again :(.

I did Adel's laundry, fold our laundry and cooked Adel's porridge for the week ahead. This time around it's a mixture of carrots and sweet potato. So the colour is naturally orange with a touch of purple :). I think Adel loves veggies. He has troubles chowing down bananas and the likes but he's perfectly OK with carrots, green beans and sweet potatoes.

Hubby went out to get us dinner. We had roti naan today. When that is done, I ironed work clothes for hubby to wear tomorrow and tucked Adel to sleep.

So here I am now. Contemplating on what to do next. Maybe I'll refill the empty water bottle in the fridge or pack Adel's bag for him to bring to MIL tomorrow or maybe I'll just retire and go to dreamland instead. Hehe.

It was a fun packed and stressfull weekend. Hmmmm...I feel like having lai chi kang now ;p.
